TRAVELS WITH TRIXIE
This is a photo collection of my girl, Trixie. If you are reading this and you are a dog person, then you probably have a similar grouping of photos, the only difference being that I have put them together in an album here.
Trixie came to us during the pandemic. Like all of us, and all dogs that are adopted, she has a history that makes itself known through her sensitivity.
Dogs, like our Trixie, are our alarm clocks. They are our exercise and our pathway to the world. Trixie acts as my partner in seeing and noticing what is around us. This series of photos includes Trixie on her leash. It includes beautiful suburban scene-scapes, not far from our home, and some on Cape Cod. I guess I want to show you that you don't have to go far to see the unusual and the majestic.
What you won't see in this collection are the photos that I have taken while walking Trixie; one hand clutching her leash, the other hand awkwardly taking photos of the skies, the changing the trees, the birds and flowers. That photo story will be for another day. For today though, see the world through Trixie's eyes; her fear of Halloween decorations, her curiosity when she smells something close by, her sense that snow is different. For Trixie there is no end to the challenge of another scent, the glory of kicking up the leaves and the idea that each day is a new day to be explored.
This is a thank you note to my girl, Trixie, for introducing me the world each and every day.
